a few more rows of my scarf.
I took a knitting class last week and am attempting to make a scarf. It was going well until Elecia totally one-upped me (actually, more like three-upped me) by whipping out the most gorgeous little knitted baby hat in a single evening. The last picture here is how I feel about that.

First of all it wasnt one evening, it was a day and a half and second... It is about time I one up you on something. You are always doing the one upping. Need I remind you of High School when I placed 10th at State in FBLA which was great except you placed 2nd. How about last summer when my scrap book page won 1st at the county fair, which seemed great until yours was published in a major worldwide magazine. Need I go on???
Hmmm...when you put it from that perspective...I feel a bit like an ass. Would it help if I said your kid is cuter than mine?

O.K. you arent an ass. You are my inspiration. You are what makes me strive to do better at things. I see you do things and I think , Hey, I could totally kick your ass at that, and even if I can't I sure have fun tring!
Really nothing has changed since we were toddlers.
